bun.ink starts with bun

The character 文 can be read as “bun” in Japanese and points to literature or writing. bun.ink joins that idea with ink: a place for words, drafts, and writing that stays.

About me

Two worlds, one writing app

I am Michael, a web developer and author. With bun.ink, I want to connect my passion for both: the practical help a code editor provides with version control that is easy to understand.

At the same time, bun.ink should keep the distraction-free, simple design of a writing editor, so the focus stays entirely on the written word. bun.ink is meant to bring both together because my heart belongs to both worlds.

As a developer, I can ship changes quickly, so I am very grateful for ideas and suggestions for improvement. The beta version of bun.ink is only the beginning; the app will keep being revised and improved.
